1. Service operator

The operator of the Vanzee app is:

  • Name: Antonín Vrbický
  • Registered office: Teplice, Czech Republic
  • Company ID: 09102060
  • Support e-mail: support@vanzee.app

Vanzee is a digital service available through a mobile app and related websites. These terms apply to all users who use the service, create an account, add content or use paid features.

2. What Vanzee is and is not

Vanzee is a community map for vanlife, road trips and travel. It enables users to view and add places including stellplatz stops, experiences, alerts, private points, trips, visited places, Top 10 challenges, visited countries, peaks, profiles, reputation and other travel-related features.

Content in Vanzee is created from a combination of user contributions, technical app data, imported candidates for verification and, where applicable, places verified by the Vanzee team. Information in the app has a community and orientation purpose. Vanzee does not guarantee the availability, legality, safety or current condition of any particular place.

The user is always responsible for acting on site in accordance with laws, traffic signs, nature protection rules, property rights, local restrictions and common sense.

3. User account

Some features require registration. The user must provide truthful information, protect access credentials and not transfer the account to another person. The operator may restrict or block an account if there is a reasonable suspicion of service abuse, spam, bypassing protective rules or harmful behavior toward the community.

The service is not intended for children under 15 without the consent of a legal guardian. Paid features may be used only if the user has the relevant legal capacity or the consent of a legal guardian.

4. Community content and license

The user may add places, names, descriptions, experiences, alerts, comments, photos, private points, trips, reactions, votes, edit suggestions and other content to Vanzee. The user is responsible for having the right to add such content and for ensuring that the content does not infringe third-party rights, laws or good morals.

By adding content, the user grants the operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use the content to the extent necessary for operating, displaying, moderating, technically processing, backing up, promoting and developing the Vanzee service. The license lasts while the content is available in the service and, for public map contributions, also for the period necessary to preserve the credibility of the community map.

The operator may edit, hide, move, merge, reject or remove content if it is outdated, misleading, duplicate, inappropriate, dangerous, unlawful or violates the service rules. Public contributions may be retained in anonymized or pseudonymized form after account deletion if this is reasonable and necessary for the integrity of the map.

5. Fairness rules, guards and safety

Vanzee uses a reputation system, limits, local and server-side protective rules, anti-cheat signals, moderation and other mechanisms that protect the map from spam, fake visits, mass low-quality content and reward abuse. These rules may temporarily limit adding points, experiences, voting or other activities.

Reputation and rewards are used to motivate honest activity. They are not a monetary claim, cannot be exchanged for money and the operator may adjust their calculation, limits and weight so the service remains fair and safe.

It is prohibited in particular to add false or misleading information, impersonate another person, bypass location verification, use automation without consent, harm the reputation of other users, share third-party personal data without authorization, upload unlawful content or encourage illegal parking, entry onto private land or violations of nature protection rules.

6. Paid membership and in-app purchases

Vanzee may offer paid memberships, such as Supporter, Premium or Patron. The feature scope is described in the app at the time of purchase. Payments, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled according to the rules of the relevant app store, especially Apple App Store or Google Play.

The operator does not process full payment card details. Entitlements to paid features are verified through app stores and the subscription management service. If a membership does not activate correctly after purchase, the user should contact support at support@vanzee.app.

If the service is provided as digital content or a digital service, it may be made available to the user immediately after purchase. Withdrawal, complaints or refund options are governed by platform rules, applicable laws and the nature of the purchased service.

7. Availability and liability

The operator strives to keep the service available, safe and up to date, but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, internet outages, third-party outages, changes to map services, updates or security interventions.

Vanzee does not guarantee that a particular place will be suitable for overnight stays, parking, water refill or another activity. The user must verify the situation on site independently. The operator is not liable for damage caused by the user relying solely on community information without their own assessment.

8. Account termination

The user may request account deletion through support. The operator may restrict or cancel an account if the user seriously or repeatedly violates these terms, threatens service safety or harms the community. Upon account termination, personal data is handled according to the Privacy Policy.

9. Complaints, support and problem reports

Technical problems, questions about account, membership, content or moderation can be sent to support@vanzee.app. The user should include the account e-mail, problem description and, where relevant, a screenshot or place identification. The operator will respond within a reasonable time according to the complexity of the matter.

A consumer may also contact the relevant authority for out-of-court consumer dispute resolution, which in the Czech Republic is usually the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, if the statutory conditions are met.

10. Changes to these terms

The operator may reasonably change these terms, especially due to changes to the service, laws, safety, paid features or technical operation. Users will be informed of significant changes in an appropriate way in the app or on the website. If the user disagrees with the changes, they may stop using the service and request account deletion.
